Welcome to Llanelwedd, Builth Wells and the Royal Welsh Showground

The Royal Welsh Showground at Llanelwedd, Builth Wells is set in 90 hectares of stunningly beautiful countryside. This is the permanent home of the Royal Welsh Agricultural Show, a four day annual event which attracts over 200,000 visitors every year.
The showground plays host to many varied events throughout the year, perhaps the most recognisable being the Working & Pastoral Breeds of Wales in April and the Welsh Kennel Club in August.
	In 2009 the Joint GSD Clubs Two Day Show will be held the weekend before the Welsh Kennel Club Championship show. This in itself will bring many new visitors to the show, campsite and caravan park who annually holiday on the showground for the week preceeding the WKC. These campers who will become exhibitors at the WKC will have many varying breeds of dogs with them, the GSD Club of Wales asks that all campers keep their dogs under control at all times and adhere to the rules of the Showground campsite during their stay.

	The showground and the town of Builth Wells are well equipped to accommodate the exhibitor and visitor alike. There is ample accommodation and eating places to suit every taste and budget.
